The Tour de France whizzed by and it was amazing. Thanks to everyone who visited the Pedaller's Inn. Thanks also to all the people that made it possible; Design students from Leeds, Polaris bikewear and of course everyone at the Waggon & Horses.

In preparation for the Pedalers Inn we have launched our new kids menu – it’s a lovely little book made by the final year design students from Leeds met that are also reimaginging the pub as a vintage cycle to commemorate the TDF.  Its full of pictures to colour and quiz’s to do and best of all kids can enter a competition to design a cycle top for Polaris the Pedalers inn sponsers and the winner will see his/her top produced.

Come and tuck into a HOMEMADE kids meal and enter the competition!

Over the years we've found that certain ingredients have got harder and harder to source - Bilberries almost disappeared a few years ago, then there was the famous lard shortage, now there's an issue with getting good crisp red cabbage with vinegar that really tastes like vinegar. So we've started making r'own. Our own brand red cabbage has been used with our pies for the past two months and customers have really noticed the difference - some have even asked if they could buy it. So here's to R'Cabbage!
